Teaches web technologies, server-side web technologies and business process automation. His professional interests include artificial intelligence and AI agents. Responsible for the department and IATE websites, as well as the Electronic Campus system.
Oleksandr Bunke graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum and entered Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 2002. In 2008, he completed his master’s thesis on thermal-process automation using neural controllers, then worked at the department as a teaching support engineer and assistant lecturer. In 2014, he defended his Candidate of Technical Sciences dissertation on controlling inertial loops of a power plant boiler using dynamic correction and subsequently became an Associate Professor. He completed an international placement in Czechia in 2023 and was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in 2024.
